Little Pumpkin Doodle is what I like to call a girly girl with grit. She plays with her dump trucks while wearing her tutu. We spend a lot of time at our local tractor museum, and anytime we are in the car, she’s quick to point out different types of mechanical equipment. I’d like to fancy myself as a girly girl with grit, but I know my closest friends would just categorize me as a girly girl.
Why purchase eco-friendly party supplies?
LPD, recently had a playdate where the girls were playing dress up fairy princesses. The grown ups were in the kitchen and when the girls came out to perform their ballet, LPD was covered in makeup. I didn’t want her to feel left out, so I let her continue to play while wearing the play makeup. At my first opportunity, I took a peek at the ingredients and wasn’t surprised at what I found-a list of chemicals I couldn’t pronounce. Based on my past experience with LPD, I quickly wiped the makeup off as soon as we got in the car in order to avoid some type of allergic reaction.
Where can you purchase eco-friendly party supplies?
Later that evening I started researching natural products for play makeup and was pleasantly surprised when I found natural fairy makeup. Not only does Eco Party Time have play makeup, but an entire eco-friendly inventory of birthday favors to wedding invitations. Now I’m not promoting makeup on 2 year olds, but it’s a good alternative to what is found at your local store for your little Eco-Fairy.
Do you let your little one play with makeup? At what age do you think it’s appropriate?
