Little Pumpkin Doodle loves to go the local farmers market on Wednesday to buy her organic carrots.  I’m convinced there is one farmer who purposely grows kid friendly sized carrots so that kids try them.  My hubby and I have tried to ensure that our daughter gets a healthy organic start in life, so we’ve introduced her to edamame, sea weed, hummus and greek yogurt at an early age. Fresh Fresh Baby

Let’s face it babies are darn cute, but sometimes what comes out the other end is foul.  I have a real sensitive nose and my hubby does not like the smell of Mrs. Meyers Clean Day and Air Therapy (both environmentally friendly).  When Little Pumpkin Doodle was first-born we didn’t put her dirty diapers in the Diaper Genie;  my hubby would actually go to the dumpster every time she pooped (true story). Maternity Wear Mishap

 

I’m tall by today’s standards, almost 5 ft 9” and finding maternity clothing was a challenge.  I didn’t really start showing until I was almost 6 months along, so I was able to wear a lot of my regular clothing. O.K.,  I know what you’re thinking; she’s one of those skinny chicks!  I wish; actually, I was sick throughout my entire pregnancy and didn’t exactly start the pregnancy as a size  zero.  Let me assure you, not even on my best day! busted!

The first baby bath I gave Little Pumpkin Doodle was  uneventful.  My husband didn’t want anything to do with it, and suddenly decided he needed to go to the store for diapers.  I think he thought Little Pumpkin Doodle was too fragile and was scared she would break. I  have to admit I was a little scared as well. What if I did it wrong? What if I dropped her? Well none of those things happened and I eventually became good at it. [Read more…]
