It’s o.k. not to breastfeed, or is it?

It's o.k. not to breastfeedIt’s o.k. not to breastfeed, or so I thought as my hubby and  I walked into our first appointment with our soon to be pediatrician.

As it took hubby and I three and a half years to have Little Pumpkin Doodle breastfeeding was the least of my concerns. After making it past the 1st trimester, I thought, wow, I’m really going to have a baby! So I put myself into full baby mode and started nesting. First on my agenda was to buy cute baby clothes, second was to start looking for a pediatrician.

Before starting the search I did what most people do, and started asking friends, women on the street and reading blogs for tips on what I should ask while interviewing doctors. Here’s a fantastic way to recycle your child’s pajamas!

pjsAre you looking for a fantastic way to recycle your child’s pajamas?  With cooler temperatures arriving in just a few weeks not every little one has what need this fall & winter.

A  few weeks ago while walking through a street fair a kind woman stopped us to give Little Pumpkin Doodle and I a bag full of goodies. The volunteer was from Leez PJ’s 4 Kids– a non-profit that collects pajamas for kids in need that are homeless or in foster care. [Read more…]

Real Purity blush review

BlushReview.4I recently lost my makeup and thought it was time I share my Real Purity blush review.

For some reason my cheeks are very sensitive to blush. I think it’s the chemicals in the product, as well as the tools I use. In the past I would  get a rash on my cheeks after wearing blush. I eventually found a blush that didn’t give me a rash side effect, but now I want to find blush with  more natural ingredients to go with my new-found natural/organic makeup journey.
