I’ve had this rocking chair since I was two years old. It was in my first apartment after college and has traveled with me everywhere since. I managed to keep it in tact, but more importantly, my hope was that one day I would have a child and they would enjoy it like I did. One of my most vivid memories, is getting in trouble by my mother after my older brother and I used marking pens to color the seat.
We’ve all been there, you’ve finished the laundry and are putting it away only to realize that you’re missing a sock. What’s the environmentally friendly thing to do with the one that’s left behind? Well, use it of course!
Let’s face it babies are darn cute, but sometimes what comes out the other end is foul. I have a real sensitive nose and my hubby does not like the smell of Mrs. Meyers Clean Day and Air Therapy (both environmentally friendly). When Little Pumpkin Doodle was first-born we didn’t put her dirty diapers in the Diaper Genie; my hubby would actually go to the dumpster every time she pooped (true story). [Read more…]
