Fashion “Friendly” Friday is where I show you how I’m turning my closet & Little Pumpkin Doodle’s into an environmentally friendly wardrobe by learning to Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse. Last week I went to my new favorite children’s resale store, Sugar Plum Kids. For those of you who are reading this blog for awhile you know that Little Pumpkin Doodle names all her dresses and since she has outworn ”Laura Ashley” it was time to get a new dress. I love this store! The place is clean, it doesnt’ have the stinky resale smell and the staff is great. I happen to have a credit from the time LPD’s nanna was here for visiting for $13.00 (I sold some of LPD’s clothing to the store), so I went to work. Since LPD was with me she occupied herself by playing with toys while I browsed. It didn’t take long for me to find two adorable dresses.

Happy Friday! This is such a big weekend. We have a lot of fun things planned for Little Pumpkin Doodle. She doesn’t quite understand Easter, but she’s enjoying all the gifts from her wonderful family. Nanna sent LPD a very large box filled with Easter goodies. I’m surprised she’s being so patient and waiting until Daddy gets home to open it. One adorable Easter gfit LPD received is a custom t-shirt from Tante Lisa, by Lima Bean Kids. Since LPD has a slightly unusual name, it’s difficult to find items with her name on it, so it was a nice surprise. [Read more...]
When Nina found out I was expecting, she was pregnant with her second child and living in Missouri. Needless to say, she couldn’t be at my baby shower, but she sent me an awesome gift. Being the great friend that she is, she overheard me say that if I ever became pregnant, I wanted a Fleurville bag.
Welcome to Fashion “Friendly” Friday where I show you how I recycle, reduce, and reuse to make my wardrobe more environmentally friendly. Today I’m so excited to show you my loot for LPD. I purchased all 4 items for Little Pumpkin Doodle for $17.51 and that includes tax! All were purchased at my local children’s retail store. So here’s the breakdown. [Read more...]
Yeah it’s Friday! It’s been a long stressful week, but thanks to great friends and Memere (French nickname for nanna) we’ve gotten through it.
