If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know I lost my makeup bag and I’m slowly making the switch to natural/organic beauty products. Seeing that I’ve been without blush for months and have been hesitant to replace it, I figured it was time. For some reason my cheeks are very sensitive to blush and assume it’s the chemicals in the product as well as the tools I’ve used to apply it. During my prime blush wearing days, I could never wear blush because the day after I wore it, I would get a rash on my cheek bones. I eventually discovered a blush that didn’t give the rash side effect, but wanted to find something more natural to go with my new-found natural/organic makeup journey.
Will I always be a MAC girl? UPDATE:maybe not!
Yesterday, I met my long time friend Christie, for a long overdue catchup session at my favorite organic restaurant. Christie and I have known each other long before husbands and kids, but hadn’t actually sat down for a real conversation in over 5 years. When it comes to lipstick I’m a MAC girl! I’ve loved MAC lipstick since the first episode of Twin Peaks. I thought the girls looked so cool with their brooding makeup; so when my cousin came to CA for a visit from NYC, and she was wearing lipstick just like the girls on Twin Peaks, my sis and I thought it was fate.
