Fashion “Friendly” Friday

For those of you who are reading this blog for the first time, Fashion “Friendly” Friday is where I show you how I will turn my closet into an environmentally friendly wardrobe by learning to Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse.

This week I wanted to show you what Little Pumpkin Doodle’s Nanna sent her from a resale store in Vermont. As soon as we arrived home after daycare Little Pumpkin Doodle spotted the package. Any package left on the door step in LPD’s world belongs to her.

Fashion “Friendly” Fridays

Friday sure came quick this week! Here’s my latest Fashion “Friendly” Friday find.

The 100% cotton dress is a Goodwill find I got for $3 bucks.  The dress just needed a little TLC and after $4.00 at the seamstress it was as good as new.  Final cost $7. The cardigan is an ancient Old Navy sweater (I can’t recall what I paid for it).  And the shoes are from Seychelles (love their shoes). As I go through this adventure learning to raise my daughter organically, I’ve realized that part of this journey is learning to Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse. Before Little Pumpkin Doodle was born I shopped at resale and retail stores for her, and have recently applied the rule to myself. I have plenty of clothing in my closet and since I consider myself to be somewhat fashion conscious, I’ve decided to show you how I will turn my closet into an environmentally friendly wardrobe.
